Primary Care Office (PCO) Programs
The PCO's mission is to optimize health status and eliminate health disparities of persons in underserved areas of Georgia through the development of regional systems of quality health care. The PCO is committed to assist in improving access to primary health care by tracking, planning and coordinating the recruitment and retention of physicians and other allied health professionals in medically underserved areas, designation of professional shortage areas, and facilitate the development of community health centers and other primary care delivery access points.
