GL-PL Insurance Supplemental Reports
GL-PL INSURANCE SUPPLEMENTAL REPORTS
Pending Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) approval, effective July 1, 2018, nursing facility providers will receive their FYE June 30, 2018 cost of general and professional liability insurance in their current per diem rates. In order for this cost to be recognized, all nursing facility providers must complete the appropriate electronic GL-PL Insurance Supplementary Report and return to DCH by August 24, 2018. Please select the appropriate Freestanding, Hospital-Based, Multi Facility- Freestanding, or Multi Facility- Hospital Based option on the left and the report and instructions will be available.
To submit an electronic GL-Pl Insurance Supplemental Report, you must include the same electronic passwords for each facility and corporate home office that are used when submitting the annual Medicaid Cost Report. You can obtain these electronic passwords by sending an e-mail to email@example.com. Once DCH receives your request, it will send you the passwords by e-mail. If you need to change your electronic password, you can ask for a new one by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Submitting Completed GL-PL Insurance Supplemental Reports
When you complete the electronic GL-PL Insurance Supplemental Cost Report, you should e-mail it as an attachment to email@example.com. When DCH receives the report, it will send a reply acknowledging that it has received the information. Please be reminded that completed reports must have sufficient financial records to support the reimbursable costs RECORDED in the reports.
