Notice Regarding HB 1339

HB 1339, which revises the Certificate of Need (CON) process and adds several new exemptions, was signed by Governor Kemp on April 19, 2024. Beginning on July 1, 2024, the Office of Health Planning will accept requests for letters of determination for the new exemptions.  A request for a letter of determination must also be submitted for any activity which is believed to be excluded from review prior to its implementation.
