DCH Selects Deloitte Consulting to Assist with 1115 and 1332 Waiver Development

On June 3, 2019, the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) announced the selection of Deloitte Consulting LLP to assist the department in studying, reviewing and analyzing waiver opportunities under section 1115 and section 1332 waivers. Project activities will begin immediately and are expected to conclude on or before December 31, 2019.

“The department is eager to roll up our sleeves and get to work, and we are excited to utilize Deloitte’s experience and results in this arena to support our team and stakeholders in the coming months,” said Frank W. Berry, Commissioner, DCH.“The Patients First Act is about affordable, accessible, high-quality health care for Georgians across our state.  Today’s important announcement – and the work that has gone into making it happen – has laid a strong foundation upon which to build options for Governor Kemp to consider.”

Proposals were received from five of the six offerors who were invited to apply. Written proposals were received by the department on or before May 20, 2019.  Presenters were invited to attend an in-person presentation to state staff on May 29 – 30, 2019. Written materials provided to DCH are attached below:
