The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) will host a webinar on Thursday, June 11 from 3:00 – 3:45 p.m. ET to provide an overview and update of the Georgia Rural Enhancement and Transformation of Health (GREAT) Health Program, including:

  • The federal Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program 
  • Georgia’s GREAT Health Program initiatives and implementation activities 
  • Current and upcoming funding opportunities
  • Phase 1 GREAT Health Program subgrantees
  • Future engagement opportunities for providers, community organizations, workforce and education partners, and other interested parties

Speakers include Stuart Portman, Georgia Medicaid Director at DCH; Nita Ham, Executive Director of State Office of Rural Health; and James Peoples, Director of Provider Services at DCH.

The GREAT Health Program is Georgia’s Rural Health Transformation Program led by DCH to support long-term rural healthcare transformation efforts across the state. DCH will accept questions in advance submitted via the registration link.
