Approval of NOW Waiver Renewal

DCH received approval of the state’s request to renew Georgia’s 1915(c) New Options waiver for intellectual/developmental disabilities for a five-year period effective Nov. 9, 2022. 

This waiver will offer supports for waiver participants: Community Living Support- Basis/Extended Services, Prevocational Services, Adult Dental Services, Adult Occupational Therapy Services, Adult Physical Therapy Services, Adult Speech and Language Therapy Services, Nutrition Services, Specialized Medical Equipment, Specialized Medical Supplies, Community Guide services, Financial Support Services, Assistive Technology, Behavioral Supports Services, Community Access services, Environmental Accessibility Adaptation, Individual Directed Goods and Services, Intensive Support Coordination, Interpreter Services, Natural Support Training, Respite, Skilled Nursing Services, Support Coordination, Supported Employment Services, Transition Community Integration Services, Transition Services and Support, Transportation, Vehicle Adaptation.
