CMS Approves Renewal of 1915(c) Comprehensive Supports Waiver for Individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities

On July 14, 2022, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services notified DCH of its approval for 1915(c) Comprehensive Supports Waiver renewal for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The waiver has been approved for a five-year period effective April 1, 2021.

This Home and Community Based Services waiver will offer supports for waiver participants, including community living support, prevocational services, supported employment, adult dental, adult occupational and physical therapy, adult speech and language therapy, nursing services, nutrition services, specialized medical equipment and supplies, financial support, transition and transportation and vehicle adaption services, among other supports.
