The Community Maternal Health Fair, hosted by the Department of Community Health, is dedicated to fostering positive health changes and enhancing maternal health by connecting expecting families and those who are post-partum with vital resources and information.

Objectives:

  • Increase Service Connectivity and Promote Healthcare Resources:
    • Enroll attendees in existing support programs
    • Build community partnerships to improve maternal care
  • Raise Maternal Health Awareness
    • Provide health screenings, activities, materials, demonstrations, and information
    • Increase awareness of local, state, and national health services and resources
  • Promote Positive Health Behavior Changes:
    • Motivate participants to make positive health behavior changes
