Please follow the guidelines below to provide verbal comments during the meeting. Comments entered in the chat will not be accepted.

If you would like to comment live during the virtual forum:

  • You must use the "Raise Hand" feature to join the queue to make comments.
  • You will be called upon based on your order in the queue and will have up to 3 minutes to make comments.
  • When called upon to speak, you will be asked to provide the name of the organization you represent, if any.

If you join on your computer or by the Zoom mobile app:

  • If you need to change your name on Zoom so you can be properly identified for comment, go to the Participants panel at the bottom left of your screen, click on the three dots to the right of your name, and select "Rename" from the drop-down options.
  • The "Raise Hand" feature is located on the bottom menu of the Zoom window. If you do not see the "Raise Hand' feature, please type your first initial and last name into the Chat. For example: S. Smith
  • At the beginning of your allotted time, the Moderator will acknowledge you by name, then prompt you to unmute yourself. You may then unmute yourself and begin your comments.

If you joined by the Zoom phone dial-in:

  • If dialing in by phone, your phone number will display in the meeting.
  • You will be called on by the last four digits of your phone number as displayed in the meeting. For example, you will hear "the phone number ending in 1234."
  • Please dial *9 to raise your hand. You will be prompted to unmute when it is your time to speak. Dial *6 to unmute.
