Grants Administration Unit

In March 2006, the Grant Administration Unit was created to ensure fairness in all aspects of the grant process including grant development, application, evaluations, and award as well as compliance with mandated and procedural requirements.  The unit supports the Department initiatives that receive grant funds from state, federal and/or other funding streams for research and demonstration projects pursuant to Title XI, XVIII, XIX, or XXI of the federal Social Security Act of 1935. The Grant Administration Unit is committed to providing sound grant development and management practices, and partnership with DCH divisions to fiscally support projects and services that improve the quality of life for the citizens of Georgia.
