Meet the SORH Team

The State Office of Rural Health (SORH) is a division of the Georgia Department of Community Health and is located in Cordele, which is approximately 142 miles south of Atlanta. SORH oversees four programs designed to support rural healthcare delivery in Georgia by providing education, resources, events, and services. These programs enhance access to healthcare services, support the development of an adequate health care workforce, and promote collaboration in expanding comprehensive, community-based health care.
