Meeting Notice: Georgia Families 360°SM Program Monitoring and Oversight Committee to meet March 30

ATLANTA  – The Georgia Department of Community Health has established a Charter for the Georgia Families 360°SM program’s Monitoring and Oversight Committee.  The Georgia Families 360°SM program launched in 2014 and is the State’s new managed care program for children, youth and young adults in foster care, children and youth receiving adoption assistance and select youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Amerigroup Community Care is the care management organization managing health care for this population.

The Georgia Families 360°SM Program’s Monitoring and Oversight Committee will serve as an operational oversight and quality improvement body for the Georgia Families 360°SM Program. In addition to encouraging further collaboration between sister agencies, other stakeholders, and the Georgia Families 360°SM care management organization, the Committee will focus on transparent reporting, focused studies and quality improvement initiatives.

The first meeting of the Monitoring and Oversight Committee is scheduled for March 30, 2015 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.at the Georgia Department of Community Health, 2 Peachtree Street, N.W., Atlanta, Georgia 30303, in the 5th floor Overflow Room. The public is invited to observe.
