The Office of Human Resources (OHR) supports the Georgia Department of Community Health’s (DCH) dedication to A Healthy Georgia. 

Serving the agency’s nearly 1,000 employees in four divisions and seven enterprise offices, OHR provides consultations ranging from strategic planning, training & development, talent acquisition, employee relations, workforce & succession planning, benefits coordination, compensation forecasting, and policy development.  OHR also promotes career development for a diverse environment of clinical nurses, program specialists, health care facility inspectors, attorneys, financial experts, business analysts, IT subject matter experts, executives and more. 

Through programs like Medicaid and the State Health Benefit Plan, DCH provides health care coverage to approximately one in four Georgians. With our programs of work in Healthcare Facility Regulation and Health Information Technology, our staff is committed to serving all Georgians.
