State Institution Cost Report changes
- Schedule B-3
- A column was added next to “Balance Per Books” column titled “Amount Offset on Medicare A-8”. This column should be used by the provider to indicate the amount of revenue offset on the Medicare Cost Report Schedule A-8.
Enhancements
The following enhancements were also made to reduce calculation errors and circular references experienced during completion of the cost report:
- Page i
- Drop down menu added to item 1 (Medicaid Provider Number) which automatically populates item 2 (Name of Facility). Provider must answer the question “Is Facility Name Correct” in order to accurately capture the current name of the facility. If the name is incorrect, the provider will be prompted to enter in the current name.
- Drop down menu added to item 1 (Medicaid Provider Number) which automatically populates item 2 (Name of Facility). Provider must answer the question “Is Facility Name Correct” in order to accurately capture the current name of the facility. If the name is incorrect, the provider will be prompted to enter in the current name.
- Check Figures Tab
- Row added to automatically calculate the amount of variance between categories when “Numbers Do Not Tie” exception is indicated.
