DESI List
A DESI drug is any drug that lacks substantial evidence of effectiveness and is subject by the FDA to a Notice of Opportunity for Hearing. Georgia Medicaid does not cover DESI 5 & 6 category drugs. A list of those drugs can be found at the GHP Web site by selecting "Provider Information" then "view full list" in the Pharmacy Services box.
