Lifeline To Health
Lifeline to Health is a monthly one-hour radio program that encourages listeners to reduce health risks and improve and maintain their health. The program features interactive call-in segments, health and fitness news, and feature stories on timely health issues - particularly as they relate to ethnic minorities and medically underserved populations in Georgia.
Lifeline to Health is broadcast from 1-2 p.m. every fourth Wednesday of the month. Carol Snype Crawford is the show's host.

GRACE
The report summarizes the GRACE proceedings, which presented challenges and plausible solutions about issues of cultural competence, workforce diversity and combating CVD and diabetes in Georgia. Among the areas of focus were:
- Combating unlawful discriminatory practices that may lead to disparities in health;
- Establishing cultural competence in our healthcare system;
- Fostering cultural competence through education, recruitment and retention;
- Addressing cultural competence policy issues, such as mandating cultural competence;
- Implementing flexible standards for diverse populations;
- Implementing cultural competence initiatives in Georgia;
- Administering health care to diverse populations; and
- Promoting appropriate lifestyles to prevent CVD and diabetes.
