SHBP Seasonal Flu Vaccination Sites

Set the example, Roll Up Your Sleeve and encourage employees to do so as well!  The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) launched a broad campaign Roll Up Your Sleeve to encourage Georgia’s citizens to educate themselves about seasonal flu and novel influenza A (H1N1), and encourage Georgians to get their seasonal flu vaccination.  As a part of the Roll Up Your Sleeve campaign, we will be coordinating a Worksite Wellness initiative with the Public Health Districts to provide on-site health education to state employees, and will make seasonal flu vaccines available at various worksites. The best defense is a good offense against the flu. So remind employees to roll up their sleeves – it will be over in a pinch!
